A big "thank you" to everyone who came out and dined at RA Sushi in support of the 6th Annual Nicky's Week from May 30 – June 5 and helped us raise $179,487.46 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

During the week-long fundraiser, all 25 RA locations nationwide donated 100% of the proceeds from the sale of a variety of Nicky's Week menu items to St. Jude. These special food and drink selections included: Edamame, Shrimp Nigiri, Tootsy Maki, Pork Gyoza, Tuna Tataki, Chicken Yakitori, FIJI Water, Red Bull, The Republic of Tea and other select beverages.

Nicky's Week was developed in memory of longtime St. Jude patient Nicholas "Nicky" Mailliard, of Scottsdale, Ariz., who lost a long battle with brain cancer in February 2005 at the young age of 13. A nephew of one of RA Sushi's founders, Nicky holds a special place in the hearts of RA Sushi employees throughout the organization and will be forever missed. RA Sushi initiated the fundraiser in May 2005 to honor the memory of Nicky and help raise awareness and funds for St. Jude who played a huge role in Nicky's life. Since the introduction of Nicky's Week, RA Sushi with the help from guests has raised over $700,000 for St. Jude.
